Restorations

Already for a long while I have been receiving e-mails from fan collectors asking me for professional fan restorations. I am always glad o help owners of damaged antique fans with advice or, if possible, with my restore work.

In my opinion it is the duty of every collector to grant one's pieces a certain degree of maintenance and to conserve these historically important works of art for future generations.

The most frequent works are:

- Cleaning 
- Removing old unprofessional repairs
- Repair of broken sticks and folds
- Doubling of worn gauze and silk leaves
- Retouching of imperfections
- Add missing gold and silver foil
  etc. etc. etc...
